Letters to the Lost: Growing with Grief
Dear Friend,
I have received your letter. In reply, I write you these words as a testament that there is love after loss. Grief may flood the heart with longing; yet even with a broken heart, you must not forget heartbreak and love are old friends. Be a witness to their reunion.
As your world falls, there lay possibilities in rotting of what could have been, should have been, and would have been. Without counting days, you will nourish your grief into gratitude by realizing the fortunate of experiencing such an unforgettable love.
Remembrance is the flower that blooms after death. Grief is love decomposed; it returns to the soil of your soul. At last, the body may belong to the earth but the memories belong to the soul. Things are not necessarily soothed with time; rather, we appreciate our limited time.
Remember to live,
Courage
